What is an RSS feed?
An RSS feed (RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication) is a listing of a website's content. It is updated whenever new content is published to the site. RSS readers and some browsers (IE 7, Firefox 2.0) "subscribe" to RSS feeds, which means they download lists of property, refreshing them at intervals, and present them to you in your RSS reader or browser.
How do I make use of RSS?
To use MyHome.ie RSS feeds you will need to use an RSS feed reader. RSS reading features are also being built into portal sites such as My Yahoo! and Google and most modern web browsers (IE7, Firefox). There are many different types of RSS readers available for download. Here are some examples:

How often is RSS Feed data updated?
RSS is a 'pull' technology which means that your RSS reader is in charge of retrieving information from the website. Usually an RSS reader will look for new data every 20-30 mins. This interval can be adjusted in your RSS reader's settings.
How many properties are included in each RSS Feed?
The latest twenty properties that match your saved search criteria will be delivered to you in your RSS Feed.
