Should you see a property on MyHome.ie and wish to find out more, simply contact the selling agent by clicking on the Contact Agent button on the property brochure and completing the form. Alternatively, the contact telephone number is available on the property brochure.

FAQ: How do I register as a Member of MyHome.ie?

Simply click on the "Register Now!" link which appears at the top left of every page on the site. Simply fill out the basic details required for registratration and click SUBMIT. 

Once you have registered you can now use the FREE Tools available to members which include Property Alerts.

FAQ: How do I switch off Property Alerts?

Once you have a found a property, you may no longer wish to receive property alerts!

To switch off property alerts, log in to the members area.

  • Click on My Notifications.
  • Select OFF from the drop down menu next to the corresponding Notification Settings.
  • Click on UPDATE.

Once you have done this, you will no longer receive notifications.

FAQ: How often is the property listing on MyHome.ie updated?

MyHome.ie agents have direct access to the website and as such upload their own properties to the site. The site is updated on a daily basis. We currently have over 1,200 member estate agent offices nationwide.

FAQ: How do I receive a reminder of my Password?

Click on "Sign In" or "Register Now" link at the top of the page.

At the bottom right of the page there is a section called "Forgotten Password".

Enter your email address and click on "EMAIL MY PASSWORD".

You will then be emailed your password to your email INBOX.

FAQ: How long will my property stay on the site?

Your property remains on the site  until it is SOLD.

When a property is sale agreed, your agent can change the status of your property to "Sale Agreed" so it will no longer appear in a search result. However, in the case where the sale falls through, then it is simply a matter of changing the status back to "AVAILABLE" and the property will reappear.

FAQ: Can I advertise my property on MyHome without an Estate Agent?

No you can't advertise independently of a MyHome member estate agent.

We advertise property for sale or to let only through our network of over 1,200 estate agent offices nationwide who provide the property content for the site. In order to place your property on MyHome, you will need to contact a participating MyHome.ie estate agent. To find your nearest MyHome agent, check out the estate agent listing on MyHome.ie.

FAQ: What happens if I change agents?

It is MyHome.ie policy that a vendor is only charged once for advertising property even if they switch between agents. The vendor should notify both agents accordingly, who will then notify MyHome.ie directly.

FAQ: What is RSS?

RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines and video in one place, as soon as its published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

There is some discussion as to what RSS stands for, but most people plump for 'Really Simple Syndication'. In essence, the feeds themselves are just web pages, designed to be read by computers rather than people.

How do I start using feeds?

Browser-based news readers let you catch up with your RSS feed subscriptions from any computer, whereas downloadable applications let you store them on your main computer, in the same way that you either download your e-mail using Outlook, or keep it on a web-based service like Hotmail.

Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want it to receive.

FAQ: How do I change the details on my property ad?

All properties on MyHome.ie are managed directly by our member estate agents. Our agents upload the property details directly through an administration area on the site. They have 24 hour access to this administration area and as such can change details of your brochures at any time.

FAQ: Can I advertise COMMERCIAL Property on MyHome.ie?

Yes. You can advertise commercial property throughout the Republic of Ireland on MyHome.ie. This works the same way as our residential property listings. In order to advertise a commercial property on MyHome.ie (www.MyHomeCommercial.ie), you will need to contact one of our member estate agents.
