MyHome.ie Confirmed as No.1 Irish Property Website
MyHome.ie has emerged as the major winner in the latest national survey of internet usage. According to the latest report published by The Joint National Internet Research (JNIR) survey MyHome.ie has been confirmed as the No.1 property website in Ireland.
The MyHome.ie site is ranked as the 7th most popular site visited in the JNIR league table with mainly search engines and classified directory sites ranked ahead of it. No other property website makes the top 10 list.
The survey also showed that MyHome.ie has the highest percentage rating in key categories of the survey including ‘employed’ and high-earning ‘ABC1’ categories. 88% of those who visit MyHome.ie are employed with 94% of visitors in the ABC1 category. Similar to previous JNIR reports a 2:1 female bias amongst the visitor base of MyHome.ie was revealed in the survey with 63% women and 32% men using the site.
Commenting on the results, Jim Miley, CEO of MyHome.ie said; “In spite of the challenges in the current property market the latest Joint National Internet Research (JNIR) report confirms MyHome.ie remains hugely popular as people continue to keep a close watch on the property market. The addition of new site features such as our www.myhometv.ie channel and the growing audience for rentals on MyHome.ie has seen our site traffic and audience continuing to grow month by month”
JNIR now shows that 1.79 million adults or 51% of the total adult population now use the internet regularly indicating continued upward growth in internet usage.
35% of all adults are connecting to the internet almost every day which equates to a potential online daily audience of 1.265 million adults.
The results of this survey show the ongoing importance of the internet for property advertising and it confirms the position of MyHome.ie as the market leader for advertising residential property.
