Hanging Shelves

The multi-use shelf is ever present in all rooms of the house, be it floor standing, wall hanging or even as a room divider.

Hanging Shelves:

If you are hanging individual shelves, there is no question there will be a little DIY involved. Make sure you have all the tools on hand before you start. Assuming that your new shelves come with brackets and screws, you will need to add the following items to your shopping list:

• Power Drill
• Pencil
• Screwdriver
• Cable Detector
• Spririt Level

Always take care to use these tools correctly, as, though shelving can be a simple process, you could end up with wonky shelves, or even worse, be injured if your screw hits an electric cable.
